Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to the goods sold by Idea Light Limited, trading as Work Buddy to the Customer.
Sales and Purchase
Your placement of an order with us constitutes your willingness to purchase goods from us on these terms. The Order is accepted only when we notify you that we accept your Order. This is confirmed by an email sent by us stating the order detail or the order confirmation stated on our website.
If we accept the Order, a binding contract between you and us will arise on these terms (the Contract). The Contract may be amended only by written agreement between us and you.
Prices
All prices shown on the website are Goods and Services Tax (GST) exclusive. GST is added and shown at checkout. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the price of the goods will be the price displayed on our website on the day of order. We may change our prices from time to time without notice. We are entitled to charge a delivery fee, which will be calculated by the values of goods purchased and the region declared in the Order.
Payment
Payments can be made by electronic transfer into Work Buddy’s bank account. An email will be sent by us with the payment details after the placement of the Order. Your orders will be prepared and ready for delivery once the payment has been confirmed.
Shipping & Delivery
Free Delivery all around Auckland when you spend $35+ (excluding GST). However, all orders to rural addresses will be charged $5 per order for rural delivery.
$6.00 Delivery fee for orders under $35 (excluding GST). Where the delivery address is a rural address, a $5 rural delivery charge will apply above the standard delivery charges.
For our “In Stock” products, the items will be delivered within 1-2 business days (excluding public holidays) after the payment has been confirmed.
For our “Pre Stock”, delivery is expected between 3 to 4 business days after the payment has been confirmed.
If your order consists of both “In Stock”, and “Pre Stock”, the items will be delivered between 3 to 4 business days.
Dates given for shipment or delivery are for guideline purposes only but are not to be treated as a condition of sale.
Return, Repair and Credit Policy
Work Buddy will accept the return of goods for credit for any product that is returned unopened and in original resaleable condition within 5 days of receiving the delivery. Delivery charges will not be refunded and in some instances, you may be charged for collection.
If inaccurate item/s is/are supplied by the Seller, the seller will be responsible for the collection and replacement of the product.
If it’s a faulty product, the Customer must inform the Seller of the defects within 5 days of receiving the delivery. The Seller will provide the address for return. Faulty products will be referred to manufacturers for assessment and cause of the fault. If the items cannot be repaired, they will be replaced. Where the same item is not available, a similar item of similar specifications and price will be provided. The seller will be responsible for the collection and replacement of the product.
All returned items must be in a resaleable condition and unopened with no writing, labels or damage to the outer packaging. Please ensure that when returning products to Work Buddy, please package the returning goods inside a box or wrap them with suitable packaging material to prevent damage to the items.
A 20% restocking fee plus the cost of delivery may apply for goods being returned. Restocking fees are not applied when a product is returned due to a defect.
Privacy Act
The Customer authorises Work Buddy to collect, retain, and use personal information about the Customer. The information will be used to maintain and operate your account, and promote goods and services provided by Work Buddy to the Customer.
The Customer has a right of access to information about the Customer’s personal information held by Work Buddy by contacting info@workbuddyoffice.com.
Risk and Ownership & Overdue Payments
Risk in the goods shall pass to the Customer upon delivery to the Customer or to the address specified by the Customer. If a carrier is used to effect delivery, delivery to the carrier shall constitute delivery to the Customer, and all claims for goods damaged in transit shall be made to the carrier immediately after the delivery of the goods to the Customer. The risk of goods being returned for credit shall remain with the customer until received by Work Buddy.
Pending cleared payment in full of all monies due under this contract or in respect of any other monies owed by you to Work buddy, the goods shall remain the sole and absolute property of Work Buddy as a legal and equitable owner.
